1. The product
Pawpilot is a desktop companion application (a pixel-art pet that reacts to your cursor, typing, focus sessions, and AI coding agents), together with this website and the in-browser playground. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
2. Your license
When you purchase Pawpilot, we grant you a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Pawpilot on devices that you own or control. There is no per-seat limit for your own devices — one key works on every machine you own.
You may not:
- resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute Pawpilot or your license key;
- share your license key publicly or with people who have not purchased it;
- remove or alter any proprietary notices.
3. Pricing and payment
Pawpilot is a one-time purchase of $3.90 for a lifetime license. You may optionally add $1.90 to support the developer — this is entirely voluntary. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and merchant of record, who handles billing and applicable taxes. Prices for future purchases may change.
4. Refunds
If Pawpilot is not right for you, contact us within 14 days of your purchase at support@pawpilot.space for a full refund. Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to your original payment method.
5. License keys
License keys are cryptographically signed and verified offline. Keep your key private; you are responsible for activity that occurs with your key. We may revoke keys that are shared publicly or used in breach of these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Pawpilot for any unlawful purpose;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- circumvent, disable, or tamper with licensing or security features;
- interfere with or disrupt the website or its infrastructure.
7. Updates
We may release updates and improvements at our discretion. Features may be added or changed, and we do not guarantee that any particular feature will be available indefinitely.
8. Third-party tools and trademarks
Pawpilot can integrate with third-party developer tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Antigravity, and Kiro to react to their activity. Those names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Pawpilot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them, and your use of those tools is governed by their own terms.
9. Intellectual property
Pawpilot, including its software, artwork, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a license to use Pawpilot; they do not transfer any ownership rights.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Pawpilot is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pawpilot and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of Pawpilot. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license.
12. Termination
Your license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. You may stop using Pawpilot at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Pawpilot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
